Clear in-browser mega download folder






















I just found out that the reason why my C: drive gets filled up so quickly is because everything I download with Mega (file sharing website), even though I download them straight to my HDD, gets copied to my system drive. I've downloaded roughly 20GB worth of files, and I can't seem to find it. Whenever I download from Mega, I lose a TON of space on my Chromebook's SSD, even though I save the file to a 32 GB flash drive. I'm thinking that Mega is downloading the Data to a temporary place before it sends me the file. and that location still has the data stored and taking up space.  · 12 Nov , So I noticed that when I download a file from Mega, it creates a copy of the file in that path: C:\Users\K4TTO\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable\File System\\p\ Making Opera GX folder to take more space than it should because the download actually goes to "my downloads" too.

When you find your mega browser storage full, visit your downloads page and there you will find all the files you downloaded. Just delete your download history and this may clear some space.
